UK to send sniffer dogs and fencing to Calais

The UK is sending extra sniffer dogs and fencing to the French port of calais, to try to stop migrants entering the channel tunnel in an attempt to make it to Britain.

Prime Minister David Cameron who had chaired an emergency Cobra committee meeting also said land near the British side of the tunnel is likely to be used to help ease the traffic congestion, caused by a backlog of lorries because of the disruption caused by migrants.
