Police video fuels anger over death of African-American motorist

Police in the American state of Texas have released videotape of a traffic stop, amidst controversy about the subsequent death in custody of the motorist.

A coroner ruled that Sandra Bland hanged herself in her jail cell; a conclusion disputed by friends and family.

As the investigation into the death of the 28-year old African-American continues, the new video is being pointed to by activists, concerned about what they see as the disproportionate use of force by police against minority communities.

Around a minute later, the trooper draws his taser.
