Blair recalls the 7/7 attacks

Memorials and silences are being held across the British capital  to mark the ten year anniversary of the 7/7 suicide bombings that killed 52 people on London's transport network.

Four al-Qaeda inspired suicide bombers detonated their explosives at three underground train stations and on a bus, in the worst terrorist attack ever on British soil.

Former Prime Minister Tony Blair remembers he was hosting a G8 summit in Scotland ten years ago today before racing back to London.  Speaking to LBC radio, he recalled how multiple terror threats following the attack caused huge anxiety.
