Independent inquiry into historic child sex abuse allegations opens in the UK

An independent inquiry into historic allegations of child sex abuse involving senior  British public figures has opened in London. 

New Zealand judge, Justice Lowell Goddard opened the inquiry by explaining how it will work.   

The inquiry opens nearly a year after it was first announced as Catherine Drew reports from London.
