Boston drop 2024 Olympic bid

The US city of Boston's has ended its bid for the 2024 Olympic games
because of a lack of support from residents.

Boston had been selected as the designated host city for the United
States but fears grew that taxpayers would have to cover any cost
overruns for the games.
