Report: US Personal Income Up in April, Consumer Spending Down

Personal income in the U.S. ticked up in April, but consumer spending
was unexpectedly flat, as Americans cut back on big ticket items in an
effort to boost their savings. The latest Commerce Department report
out Monday suggests the US economy was growing moderately in quarter
two.
