KURDS CAPTURE KEY BASE FROM I.S.

Kurdish troops say they've captured a key military base in northern Syria from the Islamic State.

Kurdish YPG forces are in control of the Liwa (Brigade) 93 base which is just north of Raqqa, the self-declared capital of IS-held territory.
