EU proposes refugee quota as part of new migration agenda

The European Commission has announced a plan to impose EU wide quotas to distribute 20 thousand migrants across the 28 member states.

The release of the EU's agenda on migration is partly in response to the thousands of people being smuggled by traffickers across the Mediterranean sea to reach EU shores.
