Two buildings collapse after NYC gas explosion

Twelve people have been injured, three of them critically, after a gas
explosion caused two buildings to collapse in New York City.

Two hundred and fifty firefighters have been trying to stop a fire
from spreading to other buildings in the busy residential area.
