UK finance minister George Osborne will unveil his final budget before the country's general election later ((12.30 GMT)).
The Conservative Chancellor has promised 'no gimmicks' in the tax and spending plans.
But some of them may never even see the light of day, if his party does not win May's election.
The opposition Labour Party insists the budget is a prelude to further major spending cuts if the Conservatives do return to government.
Political reporter Theo Usherwood is at Westminster - he says the 'no gimmicks' pledge will be only partially true.
