Anti-austerity demonstrations turn violent outside European Central Bank

Anti-austerity demonstrations outside the European Central Bank in Frankfurt have turned violent after rioters torched police cars and threw stones at officers.

German police say they expect around 10,000 people to join a protest march coinciding with the inauguration ceremony of the ECB's brand new headquarters.
