Colombia's FARC say they will not recruit children

Colombian guerrilla group the FARC, also known as the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, announced that they are increasing the minimum age for recruits from 15 to 17 years.

A FARC spokesperson denied that they had a forced recruitment policy, and added that many young people had joining them of their own free will.
