Undocumented Immigrants Line Up for California License to Drive

A new law in California has the state taking driver’s license applications from immigrants who are in the United States without documentation.

Law enforcement officials say the new law will boost road safety because licensed drivers must be tested and insured.

Immigrants rights groups say having a license will make it less difficult for undocumented immigrants get to work and take their children to school.

Rachel Silverman reports from San Francisco.
