Syrian refugees in Jordan sliding into abject poverty, says UN Refugee Agency

The escalating Syrian crisis is pushing refugees living in Jordan into abject poverty, says the UN refugee agency, with two out of three refugees there now living below the national poverty line.


In response, the agency has launched a major appeal for funds to help Syrian refugees and the countries hosting them.
