Republicans Denounce 'Tax And Spend' Obama After State of the Union


Republicans have been reacting to President Obama's State of the Union address, saying his planned tax rises for America's richest earners will damage, not help, the US economy.

The official Republican rebuttal came from Iowa Senator Joni Ernst, who was elected during November's midterms. She set out some of her party's priorities now it controls both houses of Congress:
