Pres. Obama wants to work with 114th US Congress

U.S. President Barack Obama says he wants to work together with the Republican leadership of the U.S. Congress.

That despite his spokesperson saying that the American president would veto the Keystone XL pipeline, one of the first pieces of legislation Congressional lawmakers were set to take up.

After meeting with Mexican President Pena Nieto in the Oval Office, U.S. President Barack Obama expressed his optimism as the 114th U.S. Congress gets down to work.
