French police have arrested seven people as they continue to hunt for two suspects in the attack on magazine Charlie Hebdo in Paris.

The seven are said to be connected to the two main suspects and were arrested in the Paris area, and in the towns of Reims and Charleville-Mezieres.

Arrest warrants have been issued for Cherif and Said Kouachi, while a third suspect handed himself in.

In the UK, emergency security meetings are being held to discuss the threat level in Britain and the intelligence response.
