EU FMs MEET IN BRUSSELS TO DISCUSS TERROR THREAT

EU Foreign Ministers are gathering in Brussels to discuss the terror threat in Europe, following the Paris attacks and Belgium anti-terror raids.

A range of options will be discussed to form the basis of a special leaders' summit on terrorism on 12th February.

It also comes ahead of a meeting in London on Thursday of members of the US-led coalition against the Islamic State militant group.

UK Prime Minister David Cameron has been calling for extra powers to monitor online communication between terror suspects.

But Baroness Jenny Jones of the Green Party says that's not necessary.
