ECB set to announce 1 trillion euro QE injection

The European Central Bank is set to announce an injection of up to 1 trillion euro into the eurozone economy after governing board meets on Thursday.

The much-anticipated measure is hoped to boost weak economic growth in the single currency bloc by buying government bonds and lowering the cost of borrowing.
