Castro appears to back thaw in relations with U.S.

Cuba's Fidel Castro has given his backing to U.S. President Barack Obama's efforts to restore diplomatic relations.

In a letter, the former Cuban leader said while he doesn't trust the U.S. that did not mean he didn't support a better relationship.
