California Begins Bullet Train Construction Despite Budget Shortfall

Intro: Construction officially started on California's years-delayed high speed rail system on Tuesday.  The project aiming to connect san francisco and los angeles by train was approved by voters in 2008 but has since faced political opposition and budgeting problems.  Arash Ghadishah reports from Los Angeles
