12 dead in French magazine attack

Twelve were killed when at least 3 men attacked the Paris offices of the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo.

The magazine  has repeatedly published cartoons critical of Islam and witnesses told the French police, the attackers shouted, "We have avenged the prophet!"

Speaking via a translator, Paris Prosecutor Francois Mollins described the scene.
