The White House has refused to be drawn on calls for former CIA and other government officials to be prosecuted over the use of torture in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks on America.
The United Nations is demanding the prosecution of those officials responsible for the torture revealed in a US Senate report on Tuesday, and as our Washington Correspondent Simon Marks reports, there have been similar calls on Capitol Hill.
