Wall Street Reform Proposal Could Derail US Budget Deal

A fight is brewing in the U.S. Congress over a proposal to roll-back of a law banning deposit-holding banks from many risk trading practices.

The proposal to allow many banned derivatives trades is part of a major budget deal which must be struck in the next few hours to avoid a government shutdown.
