United Nations considers more Darfur withdrawal

The United Nations is considering the withdrawal of a large number of
its peacekeepers from Darfur, according to the New York Times.

The region of Sudan has recently witnessed an upsurge in violence,
just as two senior UN officials are expelled from the country.
