New South Wales police have confirmed that the Sydney hostage siege is over after heavily armed officers threw into the building before storming the cafe.
Police have not yet confirmed local reports of fatalities and injuries.
The alleged gunmen, self-styled Muslim Cleric, Man Haron Monis, used hostages to record his demands before posting them on social media sites.
