Leaked emails show that the head of Sony Pictures consulted a senior official in the US government in June, over the release of an upcoming film featuring a plot to assassinate North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
The Reuters news agency reports that it's seen an internal email between Sony Pictures CEO Michael Lynton and US Assistant Secretary of State Daniel Russel, in which the studio says it's concerned about American and North Korean relations.
