Iran has attacked Islamic State targets in eastern Iraq- that's according to the Pentagon which has denied co-ordinating any military missions with Tehran.
Pentagon spokesman, Rear Admiral John Kirby, insists the US is continuing its air campaign and it's for the Iraqi government to monitor its own airspace.
