A former State Department official has said he is concerned about the release of American contractor Alan Gross, who is now back in the US after being held in prison in Cuba after five years.
The release of Mr. Gross comes as the Obama administration seeks to normalise relations with Cuba for the first time since the revolution there in 1961.
