A long-awaited report on the Bush administration's use of torture in the aftermath of the September 11th attacks is being published in Washington.
The report, written by Democrats in the US Senate, is expected to shed light on some of the CIA's darkest practices in the years after the 2001 attacks.
Our Washington Correspondent Simon Marks says security has been tightened at American diplomatic compounds worldwide ahead of the report's publication.
