US Congress returns for lame duck session

The U.S. Congress is returning to work for a 'lame-duck' session - when Congressmen who lost their local elections can still vote on key legislation.

The new, Republican-controlled 114th U.S. Congress is officially sworn into office the first week of January 2015.
