The Obama administration has issued a strong condemnation of the terrorist attacks in Iraq, including the car bomb in Irbil which killed at least six.
The U.S. military has conducted 24 airstrikes in Iraq in the past 48 hours, and another 6 against IS militant positions in Syria and one against the Khorasan Group.
Jeff Rathke, the director of the U.S. State Department's Press Office, issued a standard condemnation of the attack and added, the Iraqi people are fighting back.
