A review of how the UK's Home Office handled filed alleging historic child abuse from the late 70s to late 90s has found no evidence that records were removed or destroyed.
The chief of children's charity NSPCC, Peter Wanless, was asked to investigate reports that files were removed to cover-up abuse, but his findings revealed there to be nothing to support this claim.
