Mexican students begin strike

University students in Mexico have organized a 72 hour nationwide strike to protest the disappearance of 43 students who went missing in the city of Iguala in September.

On Tuesday, federal police arrested the former mayor of Iquala, who had fled the city after being accused of ordering local police to confront the students on the day of their disappearance.

Andrea Arenas reports.
