In the wake of the Ferguson grand jury decision in the Michael Brown case, mayors from the three
largest cities in the U.S. state of New Jersey said they will require
police officers in the cities of Newark, Jersey City and Paterson to
wear body cameras while on duty. The Brown verdict sparked an
international conversation about law enforcement tactics, and the Mayors
say this is a step their state can take to mitigate police
brutality.
