100 Islamic State fighters are thought to have been killed in air strikes in northern Iraq following the discovery of a network of underground bunkers.
Australian Defence chiefs say one of their planes spotted the concealed caves and tunnels close to the city of Kirkuk, which is currently controlled by Kurdish forces.
Multi-national air strikes involving 20 aircraft, dozens of targets and a ground operation by Kurdish Peshmerga troops then followed.
