US Federal Reserve ends economic stimulus

The US Federal Reserve has ended its easy-money stimulus program,
which was designed to help the economy back on its feet after the
global recession six years ago.

The Fed also reaffirmed its commitment to keep interest rates low for
the foreseeable future.
