CAMERON PLEDGES TAX CUTS, MOCKS MILIBAND

UK Prime Minister David Cameron has pledged tax cuts for millions of Britons if his Conservative Party wins next year's election.

He's also promised his party's final annual conference before the election that Britain's deficit will continue to come down.

Mr Cameron's speech in Birmingham follows that of Labour leader Ed Miliband last week in which the Conservatives' austerity measures were criticised.

Polls currently suggest a close race between the Conservatives and Labour next May.

David Cameron mocked Ed Miliband's admission he forgot to mention the budget deficit at Labour conference.
