Texas officials urge calm after new Ebola case identified

Officials in Texas are urging members of the public not to panic after a healthcare worker in Dallas tested positive for Ebola.

The worker has not been identified, but the new patient was part of the medical team treating a Liberian who last week became the first person to die of Ebola in the US.

An investigation is underway to determine how the healthcare worker was infected with Ebola.

Dr. Anthony Fauci with America's National Institutes for Health told ABC News a mistake may have been made in the way in which healthcare workers in the Texas hospital protected themselves.
