State Department says talks continue with New Zealand over coalition role

The US State Department says discussions are continuing between the US and New Zealand over what role it will play in the international coalition fighting Islamic State militants.


A spokeswoman was responding to questions raised when the Chief of the New Zealand Defence Force, Lt. Gen. Tim Keating, attended a so-called "war summit" with President Obama in Washington on Tuesday.
