Russia’s rouble currency fluctuates wildly after once again falling to historic lows against the dollar.

Russia's rouble currency has fluctuated wildly after once again falling to historic lows against the dollar.


A 5% jump in value followed more falls after news of a natural gas supply agreement between Ukraine and Russia and speculation Russia's central bank may raise interest rates to support the rouble.


Russia has seen economic damage with capital flight and inflation after Western sanctions over Moscow's actions in Ukraine.
