Nobel prize for medicine goes to researchers who found the brain's GPS


A professor at University College London and two Norwegian scientists are to share this years Nobel Prize for Medicine, after discovering what was described as the brain's inner GPS system, that allows humans to orientate themselves.

The Nobel assembly in Sweden said the three researchers has solved a problem that had occupied philosophers and scientists for centuries.    From London, Catherine Drew reports.
