Burkina Faso protests continue as president steps down

INTRO:  Burkina Faso president Blaise Compaore has resigned a day after protesters torched his parliament and the army announced an interim government was to be formed. At least three people have been killed in violent protest in the country's capital Ouagadougou. The military has claimed to have taken control of the government,.
