US and EU to Announce Sanctions on Key Russian Sectors

The United States is expected to release details on a sweeping new round of sanctions targetting key sectors of the Russian economy. (on Friday)

The sanctions will be coordinated with the European Union and are designed to increase pressure on Moscow to stop providing military support to rebels in Eastern Ukraine.
