US mid-term election campaigning picks up pace

Americans will go to the polls in six weeks to choose all 435 members of the U.S. House of Representatives, plus one-third of the U.S. Senate and many local races.

Ahead of that vote, campaigning has picked up as the Republicand and Democrats vie for power.
