UN Ambassador: Support Growing For U.S. Efforts Against ISIS

President Barack Obama will address the United Nations later this week
to address the growing threat of ISIS, days after the US Senate
approved his strategy to arm and train Syrian rebels to fight
militants on the ground.

U.S. Ambassador to the UN Samantha Power said she is pleased to see
growing international support for U.S.-led efforts against the
militants, and that it will be important to address the current
strategy when nations congregate for the UN General Assembly in New
York this week.
