US attack against IS continues; Britain to vote on joining fight; British jihadists killed in airstrikes

British warplanes could be participating in airstrikes against Islamic State militants by the weekend.

Speaking at the United Nations General Assembly in New York, British Prime Minister David Cameron told world leaders that Britain is ready to join the fight.

Mr Cameron has recalled parliament to vote on Friday whether Britain will participate in military action in Iraq.

ALT: The US has confirmed that fresh airstrikes against IS targets continue to be carried out in Syria.

Ravi, a British aid worker in Iraq based near the Mosul Dam, says that locals are concerned about the increase in air strikes.

ALT: As many as five British jihadists are believed to have been killed in the latest US airstrikes in Syria. 

The mother of one of them, 19 year old Ibrahim Kamara, says she can't believe her son was allowed out of the British border. 

Michael Clark, Director of the Royal United Services Institute says that many fighters are being allowed to cross international borders where they should be being stopped.
