AIR STRIKES TARGET I.S. OIL REFINERIES IN SYRIA

A third night of air strikes in Syria has seen the US-led coalition targeting oil refineries which generate income for the Islamic State.

US, Saudi and UAE aircraft were involved in the raids in eastern Syria against IS-held positions.

Activists claim 14 IS fighters and five civilians were killed.

It comes as the UK's Parliament prepares to vote (on Friday) on whether to join air strikes against the Islamic State in Iraq.

MP Crispin Blunt voted against military action in Syria just over a year ago, but will be voting in favour this time.
