US President Barack Obama and UK Prime Minister David Cameron say they will 'confront' the Islamic State militant group.
NATO leaders are gathering in Newport, Wales for a two day meeting, with the actions of IS militants in Syria and Iraq thrust towards the top of the agenda following a new beheading video released earlier this week.
But while Mr Cameron and Mr Obama have written a joint article in the Times newspaper vowing action against the Islamic State - our correspondent Olly Barratt reports from the summit in Newport, that what exactly that action might be remains unclear.
