UK PARLIAMENT 'TO DEBATE I.S. MILITARY RESPONSE'

The UK's Parliament will reportedly be recalled on Friday to discuss Britain's role in military action against Islamic State militants.

A formal request is expected from Iraq's Prime Minister for the UK to join in air strikes on IS positions.

Peter Oborne of the Telegraph newspaper says a recall of Parliament has to take place before Britain can take part in military intervention in Iraq or Syria.
